Chan Grove Monastery (祖師禪林), founded and guided by Great Chan Master Guo Ru.

This is the main center where the Chinese Teaching has been developed. The Monastery is situated at the feet of Yang Ming Mountain in Taiwan, and is also the temple where Da Xing Fa Shi regularly returns to constantly learn from the Great Master.

Chan Master Guo Ru is the direct lineage disciple of Great Master Sheng Yen. At Chan Grove, Master Guo Ru offers the teaching he had received from his Master and his Grandfather Great Master Dong Chu. Chan Grove will continue to offer consultancy and to collaborate with us to achieve the common goal of propagating the Chinese Chan Teaching.
